Emily Cantrill has been a part Fun Academy Media Group since 2015. Joining the team as the initial pre-production and concept artist, Emily brought the first images of Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero to life. As well as operating as a producer, Emily is also lead on all strategic creative assets for outreach and marketing.
Emily has more than 20 years of experience as a creative professional and project manager. Her career began in international commercial textile design for several London-based design houses. Clients have included BCBG, Max Azria, Nougat and Marks & Spencer. Her work has been showcased in a variety of international publications. The return to her native Cornwall led to the establishment of Emily Cantrill Design, where she continued working as a freelance designer and began project managing, directing creative ventures and delivering strategic assets for outreach and marketing assignments. This also led to the establishment of contemporary art gallery, The Duke St. Gallery (Cornwall) and online gallery and e-commerce site, Via Cornwall.
Emily spent more than eight years working as project manager and regional coordinator for Business and HR consultancy, Penna, where she had a team of nine consultants delivering multiple projects and marketing events across the U.K.’s southwest.
She continues to work as a practicing artist when she can, creating original multi-disciplinary artwork for exhibitions and private commissions.
