Stories Families Feel Safe Bringing Home

Each Fun Academy story begins with a moment - often drawn from history - where someone chose to step forward. These stories explore courage, discovery, and the human experience behind the events we remember.

The Seaman Chronicles™

This story follows characters who step into the unknown and discover what they are capable of when they choose to try.

Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

The true story of a stray dog who found his place alongside American soldiers during the First World War.

Through courage, loyalty, and an unbreakable bond, Stubby became one of the most unlikely heroes of his time.

A story of friendship, service, and quiet heroism.

Stubby & Friends

Before he became a hero, Stubby was simply a young stray searching for where he belonged.

Set in New Haven, Connecticut in 1916, Stubby & Friends explores the world Stubby knew before the war – a city of immigrants, dreamers, workers, performers, and children trying to find their place in a rapidly changing world.

At the heart of the story are two runaway children who form an unlikely friendship with the young dog. Together they discover courage, resilience, and the meaning of family in the most unexpected places.

Inspired by real locations, historical research, and the spirit of the era, Stubby & Friends is a story about belonging, friendship, and the small moments that help shape a life. A story of friendship, resilience, and finding where you belong.
